Summer is gone and fall is finally here! With the end of September rolling in, our barkers are hard at work to whip up some of your favorite holiday themed treats for the upcoming months! But our barkers aren’t the only ones working their tails off! Human students are whipping together exciting projects this term, and in fact, one of these hardworking students reached out to us to talk about her amazing initiative!
Mackenzie Fox, a 14-year-old homeschooled student, newly matriculated high school student and aspiring veterinarian, is undertaking a four-year long project to add to her college transcript: raising a Golden Doodle, Mackley, in service dog task work by teaching her agility and obedience skills! The project is now underway since receiving the little puppy on August 11th of this year!
Upon hearing this, Binky and Oliver knew that they had to help Mackenzie, and are proud sponsors of this wonderful project by lending funds and treats for Mackley on her journey in becoming a service dog!
Mackenzie is documenting this project on YouTube and Instagram. You can follow her journey here (@mack_n_mackley) and show her your support! Or stay tuned on @BinkyandOliver since we’ll be sharing their incredible work together, too!
Binky and Oliver love supporting good causes for barkers, and wish Mackenzie and Mackley the best of luck on their four-year journey! If you have an excited story to share, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a feature on our social accounts, website and blog!
